Show me the Money!

After a bunch of back and forth with PayPal, and returning the Nike caps to them, not the seller, I DID get my $14 back a couple days ago!  Woo-hoo! 

 

Then we got a letter in the mail - the guy who did the work on our house after Charley was convicted of unlicensed contracting and ordered to pay restitution to us - almost $13K!  I doubt if we ever see it, but it's nice to know it's on his record and hopefully no one else will get screwed the way we did.  To all those in Charlotte county and the rest of Florida - stay FAR away from Robery Dobey!!

Arthritis

Oh lordy ... I'm 29 and falling apart.  I have arthritis in my right shoulder, both elbows, both wrists and ankles.  Today my left wrist is realllly bothinering me.  I hate taking drugs if I can avoid it but I'm thinking I can't avoid it much longer.  Anyone have a great *natural* idea to make it stop hurting?

eBay rip off

So I bought some Nike ballcaps off eBay last week.  The guy has lots of good feedback (400+) and was great with responding to emails.  It was a really good deal too.  They came today and are obviously knock offs.  Dh has had many many legit Nike caps and these are not even close to the same quality and don't have the same tags ect.  I'd like my $ back, but if he won't comply then I'll give them to Dh anyway, but it just sucks.  Over 500 good eBay transactions (not even couting etsy or other diapering boards) before this one.  Guess it had to happen sooner or later.

New Stuff

A few years ago Chan and I made carmel apples and they came out soooo yummy!  We did it again this year and I decided to offer them in my etsy store.  Don'y they look delicious?

I also just added some adorable stocking shaped lolli's for the holidays.

Whew!

So - we're here in SC finally!  What an adventure this move has been!  If you've ever had a flat tire on a car trailer that's being towed behind your 24 ft moving truck you will know what I mean!  We were stuck at a rest stop (thankfully it wasn't n the road side!) for 3 hours with 4 tired kids, an angry cat, and grandma.  Anyway, we found the boxes with the jackets and the halloween costumes just in time.  They had a blast last night t-ot-t'ing in the new 'hood.  Nice to have a real one to go to instead of having to drive from place to place.  I'll upload some pics soon.

Sick Kids

So Friday I took the kids to the beach, one last time before we move.  The water was pretty chilly but Channy insisted on swimming most of the time we were there.  We went to lunch at Yoder's and had the BEST salads - I am really going to miss the Chef's salad ... so yummy! Anyway, she sat there shivering the whole time and by the evening was feeling yucky.  Slept all evening and through the night till 10 the next day but felt ok after that.  Sunday Tori started feeling yucky and threw up (in our bed!!) 4 times that night.  She was fine after that too.  Now Adam's a mess and threw up a few times last night, once so far today.  No fever in any of them, just a tummy bug I guess.  Hope this gets gone before the big drive!

Ya know I've been thinking ... Stay At Home Moms don't stay home much.  I run Haiden to school Chandler to the bus stop.  Pick Haiden up,  Then there's shopping, the post office, Dr's appointments and all the related school events. Not to mention softball practice and games for Chandler, and once we get moved, t-ball for Haiden.  It's crazy sometimes but it's worth it. 

 

Right now everyone is alseep - my 2 littles and the last daycare baby.  It's so quiet ... amazing!

Looking for Sabrina

So a couple days ago Dh tells me he wants to try and find his daughter.  He hasn't seen her since she was about a year old, and that was a good 18 years ago.  Her first name is Sabrina, but she has her Mom's last name and he doesn't know what that is.  Dh's cousin probably knows what it is but I haven't been able to get ahold of him yet.  How do you look for a child and what does he say if we do find her? It's been a long time.  She probably doesn't even know about him since her Mom ran off with her and never looked back. He has a picture of her, from when she was about 3 years old.  I'm not sure where it came from but I know he treasures it.

Yes, this is the first entry!  Chandler doing dishes, Haiden's watching SpongeBob, both babies are sleeping.  Dh is cleanbing up the garage so we can find the boxes to pack up for the big move.  We packed a bunch today!  Progress!
